Born and raised in Berlin, I took an interest in legal matters concerning the internet during my studies.
I studied law at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder), at the Åbo Akademi in Turku, Finland, at Humboldt University in Berlin as well as at the University of Stockholm. I find it fascinating that the legislation can not keep up with the fast-paced development in new media and with the speed of the digitalization. Moreover, I took a strong interest in international exchange and cross-border matters.
Therefore, I decided to take part in the Master program in IT-Law at the University of Stockholm, which I completed successfully with a scholarship awarded by the biggest Scandinavian corporate law firm. During my legal clerkship I deepened my knowledge in Media Law with placements, among others, at the radio broadcaster Berlin-Brandenburg (“Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg – rbb”) and two commercial law firms. With regards to IT and Media Law, I enjoy the fact that the discrepancy between the speed of digitalization and legislation requires inventive legal solutions that go beyond IT and Media Law.
