“Even from stones placed in one's path, one can build something beautiful.”

- Johann Wolfgang von Goethe-

Legal uncertainties can be like stones in your path. An outcome-oriented approach to legal issues creates clarity when assessing legal risk and thus supports your strategy. As an attorney who understands business needs and a competent advisor in contract law, employment law and media law, I can support you and your company in both domestic and cross-border matters.

I advise in German, English and Swedish with many years of experience in the following areas of law.

Contract Law / Commercial

Drafting, review and negotiation of various contracts (domestic and international) such as SaaS, SLA, e-commerce, purchase and sales, IT, supply, R&D, rental, tooling, logistics and distribution agreements, NDAs, cloud computing, RFQs, software licenses and general terms and conditions; generalist support for legal departments in day-to-day matters; implementation of contract management systems; litigation to enforce a claim.

Comprehensive advice as well as representation in and out of court in individual and collective labor law matters, including but not limited to terminations and warnings, contractual issues and drafting options, co-determination rights and works agreements, company pension schemes, company practices, and business transfers as well as on all issues relating to sports law, such as player contracts, fixed-term contracts and transfer agreements.

Advice and representation on products, services and business models with a focus on media and technology, including issues of data protection and competition law as well as intellectual property law and the protection of software, trademarks, names and image rights and their commercial use.

I provide you with one stop legal guidance on the issues that matter to you. You can also engage me as your external legal counsel. This is particularly beneficial if you have an ongoing need for legal advice but employing an in-house lawyer is not cost-effective, as well as during peak workloads or when support is needed for large-scale projects. I am also available as an interim legal counsel to bridge temporary vacancies or as external parental leave cover.

Berlin. Nationwide. International.

Thanks to my personalized advisory approach and tailored solutions, you receive reliable results that support your strategy. At all times, I am committed to achieving the best possible outcome for you. My advice is characterized by clear, comprehensible language and actionable recommendations. I place particular emphasis on an outcome-oriented approach that focuses on the needs of your business.

Interim Legal Counsel

I am also available to serve as an Interim Legal Counsel, especially in cases where your legal department is experiencing a staffing shortage—such as during parental leave or when there is temporarily too much work for too few team members. One key advantage of engaging an Interim Legal Counsel is that your company does not need to create an additional position, and employment law considerations can largely be set aside.

Over the course of my long-standing legal practice, I have gained extensive experience as an Interim Legal Counsel with a strong focus on technology and industry, particularly in the automotive, infrastructure and mobility, IT, e-commerce, telecommunications, and security systems sectors.

Selected Engagements

  • Legal advisory services for a security systems provider with a strong technological focus, particularly in contract, copyright, and data protection law;

  • Legal advice and representation of a digital agency in the areas of contract, copyright, labor, and IT law;

  • Legal advice and representation of a Tier 1 automotive supplier as external legal counsel in the areas of commercial, data protection, and employment law;

  • Advisory work at the intersection of employment and data protection law, e.g., regarding the data protection-compliant transfer of personal data within a corporate group and the monitoring of internet and tool usage by employees;

  • Ongoing employment and data protection law advice for a global telecommunications company;

  • Contract and data protection law advice for a health-focused app provider;

  • International contract law advice for a major German engineering service provider;

  • Legal advice for one of the top 20 global automotive suppliers in contract law and claims management.

In most cases, engagement can begin on short notice and with great flexibility. Thanks to my extensive experience as an Interim Legal Counsel, I am well acquainted with the internal structures of legal departments and corporate decision-making processes, allowing me to work effectively without requiring lengthy onboarding.
